So then, why do so many of us talk about our mission in dry, accounting terms? We are hardwired to respond to stories, not statistics. Since giving comes from the heart, we need to learn to speak from the heart. Anne will kick off our conference with a session that explores the science of decision-making, and dissects the elements of a good story: the building blocks that allow you to construct a compelling, suspenseful story about your charity.
